There are many community programs and services supporting children’s mental health in our community that can be accessed through Front Door.
Whether you’re a young person up to the age of 18, parent/caregiver or a child under 18, or a service provider we make it easy to find the mental health services that are right for you and/or your client.
The programs listed below are offered by our community partners in Waterloo Region and can be accessed through Front Door.
These services require a referral through Front Door. When you call Front Door, our team will assess what services or programs will best suit your individual needs and get you connected.

If you have a child from 0-4, you can connect with Camino directly or through Front Door
Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI) Ontario (virtual services)
While many of the Children’s Mental Health services in Waterloo Region are accessed through Front Door, other community partners in this area also provide excellent programming and are available through their own intake processes. If you are unsure where to find children and youth mental health support in Waterloo Region, Front Door can still support you getting to the right place.
Although the programs listed are the ones that primarily accept referrals through Front Door, Front Door also refers to other services: including recreation, peer support and more.
